GP Strategies is currently looking for a SharePoint/.NET Programmer for our global corporate headquarters in Columbia, MD.

Summary:
Works with business analysts, solution developers, architects, and system administrators to extend content management platform capabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Consults with business analysts and system users to identify improvements to system functionality and capabilities.
•    Develops software solutions to enhance and extend the capabilities of the system based on business need.
•    Consults with technology staff to implement solutions using approved methods and best practices.
•    Supports users and product vendors to resolve system issues.

Qualifications Required:
•    Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field
•    Two to four years of experience developing within the ASP.NET application framework
•    One to two years of experience programming SharePoint 2010 and/or SharePoint 2013
•    One to two years developing with the following languages/technologies: C#, SQL, Javascript, HTML, CSS

Qualifications Preferred:
•    Knowledge of business process analysis, requirements gathering, or software development lifecycle methodologies (Scrum or other Agile)
•    Understanding of basic version control concepts
•    Experience programming in AJAX, JQuery, XSLT
•    Knowledge of PowerShell
